Fran Wilson - Fran-omenal

Meet Fran, the self-proclaimed queen of graphic design and tatoos!  Hailing all the way from frigid Tasmania, Fran has an eye for detail and for all things inked.  But don't let her tough exterior fool you; Fran has a heart of gold and a sense of humour to match.  She's always ready with a sarcastic quip or ten.

When she's not busy (remotely) managing our talented designers, you can find Fran curled up with a cup of tea admiring her own tattoos, her trusty dog by her side. In fact, Fran's love for her tatoos is almost as strong as her love for Star Trek - she's been known to quote Captain Picard in team meetings.  We 'beam her up' to Brissie occasionally, but usually only so she can visit her Brisbane tattoo artist. 

Fran's love for tattoos and her legendary ability to go for hours without blinking has led her to her weekend job with MONA in Hobart, where she exhibits herself as a living canvas.  Although most patrons don't realise that she's actually living. We suspect the tattoos give her some sort of hibernation super power.

She's legendary around the office for busting some pretty cool moves at our Xmas party, although since that fateful night a few years ago, her form has been on the wane.  In fact it might be partially responsible for her move to Tasmania.

Anyhoo if you're ever in the need for a good laugh, design inspiration, or just want to bask in the glow of greatness, Fran's your girl.  Just be prepared for some seriously sarcastic remarks.

Real Role: Design Manager.

Likes: Reading, tattoos, dogs (she's a dog mum to a furry muppet), Star Trek (she's a genuine trekkie, and would def be captain if she joined Starfleet), good tattoos (like pastel unicorns and cupcakes).  Busting moves at the xmas party. 

Dislikes: Early mornings (in Tasmania the sun doesn't even come up in winter), sunburn (in Tassie the sun doesn't shine), bad tattoos (like your ex's name or your favourite meme).  Busting moves at the xmas party.

Claim to Fame: Exceptionally good at sarcastic remarks.  In fact she holds the office record for making more than 1000 sarcastic remarks in just one day.

Hero: Captain Jean-Luc Picard (nerdy I know, but he’s so cool and he looks like my boss Russ.  In fact, those two have so muich in common..)
